Contractors & Developers Bonding wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

  • Check text and controls for colour contrast, and make every link, button and form field usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
  • Label every form field and announce form errors and confirmations to screen readers.
  • Give images text alternatives, and hide purely decorative images and icons from screen readers.
  • Follow your device’s reduced-motion setting, and provide controls to pause moving content such as scrolling logos, rotating testimonials and slideshows.
  • Lay pages out so they work when zoomed in and on small screens.

Known limitations

  • Some downloadable PDF forms and older documents are not fully accessible. You can use the online Bond Request Form and Application Portal instead, or call us and we will go through a document with you or send it in another format.
  • Our commercial is hosted on YouTube. If you cannot use the video, contact us and we will describe its content.
  • Bonds bought online are sold through a storefront run by our partner, BOSS Bonds Insurance Agency, LLC, which manages that site’s accessibility. If it gets in your way, call us and we will help you get the same bond.
